A collection of the papers of Francis Henty of Merino Downs and of his family, 1853-c. 1930, including correspondence relating to the management of Merino Downs Estate. Important sub-groups are the papers of the following: Lawrence Henty; Louisa Henty; Mary Anne Henty; Alice Hindson (née Henty); Alexander Macleod; and Caroline Macleod (née Henty). There is also a small collection of papers relating to the Portland and Western District of Victorian Freezing Company Ltd, 1895-1901.
